By default the header for the parameter file contains all possible parameters for a given technology and therefore it is very long and uncomfortable to work with. Depending on which parameters you are going to submit you'll want to delete the unused columns.
When editing the header, please, take into account that capitalised fields must stay even if there will be no values in the corresponding columns, while all other fields can be removed completely from the header.
Example:

\ NAME \ DATA FILE \ Sample preparation.Barcode \ Design.Plate number \ Design.Well positions\

Here, the columns "Design.Well positions", "Design.Plate " and "Sample preparation.Barcode" can be omitted completely from the parameter file, while columns "NAME" and "DATA FILE" must be present even if empty.
